An established Homelessness and Housing Needs expert with experience at strategic leadership, management, consultancy, policy and new development. Extensive knowledge and experience of working in both the statutory and voluntary sector at both strategic and operational level. Excellent at forging relationships in central & local Government, as well as the voluntary and community sectors.

 

Previously (2006 – 2011) Head of the Homelessness Programme at the Department of Communities and Local Government with overall responsibility for managing the £600 million Homelessness Prevention Grant to all local authorities to support their homelessness strategies to specifically deliver on Government targets.

 

From 2011 to 2016, Head of Strategy and Partnership at Homeless Link offering specific guidance and support to local authorities and its partner agencies either individually or sub regionally to support them with their strategies to reduce homelessness
